Bio Petro Improver Usage Instructions

First of all these Instructions are just a guide line.  Every vehicle, Gas or Diesel is a little different.  You might need to adjust the dosage for “your” vehicle to achieve optimum results. (Download This Article)

Bio Petro Improver Usage Instructions

We suggest that you start out with the dosages listed below for the first 4 tanks and monitor your results.   If you haven’t changed your fuel filter or air filter recently, we recommend you do after your 4th tank of using our product.  Every time you fill up you must add our product to your tank. Please make sure you have less than a quarter tank of gas when you fill up.  We all have computers in our vehicles that recognize the octane of the fuel we are adding; when your tank gets below ¼ tank the computer will read the fuel correctly and generally burn the fuel more efficiently.

1. Make sure you know how many miles per gallon and/or miles per tank you are currently getting before using any Bio Petro Improver (BPI)This is your “baseline.”  Do NOT go by the computer in your vehicle.  Always calculate your miles per gallon by hand.  (See “How to Calculate MPG” below.)  It is recommended to get a new baseline in the summer and again in the winter because of extreme temperature changes.  Note: If you are in the process of using the product, you must go four tanks without the product before getting a new baseline.

2. Follow these important instructions when using the product:  The product comes in powder and pill form.  Don’t ever short - change your     tank on the recommended dosage of the product or you will not receive the maximum savings.  You always put the product in first and then add your fuel to wash it down into your tank.  Also, don't miss using the product in any tank.  Remember… it takes 4 consecutive, complete tanks before you receive any results.   If you miss a tank of using the product, then you must start completely over.  It is extremely important to always use the product on every fill up thereafter, so you can keep getting the maximum results!

Recommended Dosages:

·         GASOLINE - 1 teaspoon of powder for every 15 gallons. (Do a booster shot, which is double the dosage on your first two tanks)

2 pills for every 15 gallons.  (Do a booster shot, which is double the dosage on your first two tanks)

·         DIESEL - 1 teaspoon of powder for every 10 gallons. (Do a booster shot, which is double the dosage on your first two tanks)

2 pills for every 10 gallons.  (Do a booster shot, which is double the dosage on your first two tanks)

Using a funnel makes it much easier to get the powder into your tank if you don’t have our Adjust-A-Spoon.  Adjust-A-Spoons can be ordered from BPI Worldwide for $2 each.  If you’re adding fuel after your initial treatment, simply add the appropriate amount of powder to treat the fuel you are adding on this fill up.  Example: If you have a 30 gallon tank and only pump 15 gallons of gas, then use 1 teaspoon of product.

3. Keep a close record of your miles per gallon or miles per tank usage when you begin using your dosage of Bio Petro Improver.  Don’t depend on the computer in your car to give correct calculations, please calculate the miles per gallon by hand.  This is very important to get the correct percentage of savings.

4. Remember it takes 4 consecutive, complete tanks to get any results!

5.  Keep the product at room temperature. It should be kept in a fresh place, out of the sunlight, and in its airtight container.

How to Calculate M.P.G. (Miles Per Gallon) in 4 Easy Steps:

Step 1. Filling the vehicle's gas tank completely and writing down the vehicle's odometer reading (mileage).

Example: The last time the tank was filled, the odometer reading was 32,645.1 miles.

Step 2.  When it's time to refuel, filling the tank completely (E)mpty to (F)ull.  Write down the number of gallons it took to fill the tank from the gas pump display, and write the vehicle's new odometer reading. Once two odometer readings are taken, MPG can be calculated.

Example: The next time the tank was filled, the odometer reading was 33,001.3. It took 13.5 gallons to fill the tank

Step 3.  Calculating the distance driven by subtracting the new odometer reading from the previous one.

Example: The distance driven would be 33,001.3 minus 32,645.1, or 356.2 miles.

Step 4.  Dividing the number of miles driven by the number of gallons it took to fill the tank gives you the M.P.G. for that driving period.

Example: 356.2 miles divided by 13.5 gallons equals 26.4 miles per gallon.
The M.P.G. for that driving period would be 26.4.

BPI - Gas Mileage Fluctuates

Gas Mileage Fluctuates:

Did you know that with or without any additives you will not get the exact gas mileage all the time. There are many driving conditions and environmental conditions that affect your miles per gallon (MPG).  Here are just a few of many variables to consider that reduce your MPG:

    1. Climate conditions –cold weather can reduce your MPG.
    2. Summer gas and winter gas can have different mixtures and reduce your MPG
    3. Quality of gas varies and can reduce your MPG
    4. Tire pressure can reduce your MPG
    5. Using your air conditioner can reduce your MPG
    6. Rooftop carriers can reduce your MPG
    7. City driving vs. highway driving vs. a combination of both can reduce your MPG
    8. Weather conditions – wind, rain, ice can reduce your MPG
    9. A lead foot can reduce your MPG
    10. Passing and on ramp accelerations can reduce your MPG
    11. Any increased weight of your vehicle can reduce your MPG
    12. Attached trailer, boat, or and other device can reduce your MPG
    13. Altitude can reduce your MPG
    14. Hills, mountains, and curves can reduce your MPG
    15. Traffic conditions can reduce your MPG

So the questions to ask might be:

    1. When you established your baseline what were your driving conditions and what was the time of year?
    2. After you used the product on 4 complete, consecutive tanks – and determined your new MPG, what were your driving conditions?
    3. Did you use a booster shot (double the dosage) on the first 2 tanks?
    4. Are your driving conditions exactly the same every time?
    5. What is your baseline for city, highway and a combination of both?

We know from the tests that were completed by the Wallace Environmental Testing Labs, Inc. that our Bio Petro Improver (BPI) gives a real improvement in fuel economy and reduction in harmful emissions.  Scientific lab testing using the FTP (Federal Test Procedure) and HFET (Highway Fuel Economy Test) eliminates variables and therefore, are the only tests that you can use according to the EPA and FTC to make fuel mileage and reduction of emissions claims.  Our product is PROVEN to give a real improvement in reducing emissions and improving MPG by the strictest EPA protocol testing available… FTP (Federal Test Procedure) and HFET (Highway Fuel Economy Test)!

Please visit the “Home” page of your BPI Worldwide web site (or www.mybpi.com) to read the exact strict EPA test criteria that our product passed, The EPA Motor Vehicle Aftermarket Retrofit Device Evaluation Program and to see the Wallace Lab listed as an EPA recognized lab.

To insure the consistency of the product, quality control tests are performed after receipt from manufacturer and before distribution.

Note: Color variation of the powder does not in any way reflect its effectiveness unless the product becomes "colorless", totally white, then it loses its characteristics.  The product has not only been tested to be one of the only fuel additives to give a real improvement on fuel savings and reduction of harmful emissions according to tests conducted at an EPA recognized lab, but to insure the consistency of the product, quality control tests are performed after receipt from manufacturer and before distribution.

Our product comes in pill and powder form.  The powder is by weight (50 grams and 100 grams), not by volume. You can be assured of proper weight even though some settling of contents normally occurs during shipment and handling.  Also, the 50 grams and 100 grams come in the same size bottles; therefore, the bottle with the 50 grams will have ½ the amount of powder as the bottle with 100 grams.

Bio Petro Improver has been proven with a reasonable degree of confidence in a group of vehicles by an EPA recognized laboratory using the Federal Test Procedure (FTP) and Highway Fuel Economy Test (HFET) protocols of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that the product gives a real improvement in fuel economy and reduction in harmful emissions.  News reports show that the EPA has previously tested more than 100 other fuel additives under its FTP and HFET protocols, with no demonstrable positive results.  BPI Worldwide, Inc. believes that Bio Petro Improver is the first fuel additive proven effective by an independent laboratory under the EPA’s strict protocols.  The emissions tested were Hydrocarbons (HC) which showed an average reduction of 5.387%, Carbon Monoxide (CO) which showed an average reduction of 7.315%, and Nitrous Oxide (NOx) which showed an average reduction of 3.513%.  Bio Petro Improver contains naphthalene as an active ingredient. Short term exposure, inhalation, ingestion, or dermal contact with naphthalene is associated with hemolytic anemia, damage to the liver, and neurological damage. Please store in a ventilated area at all times.  General information about naphthalene: Fossil fuels, such as petroleum and coal, naturally contain naphthalene.  Burning tobacco or wood produces naphthalene. Products made from naphthalene are moth repellents, toilet deodorant blocks, dyes, resins and leather tanning agents.  In accordance with American Legislation, this product is registered with the ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA) of the Federal Government of the United States of America.
